School Reports / Parent Partnership Meetings
Three Kings School reports in writing to parents twice each year on their child’s learning progress in Reading, Writing and Mathematics according to NZ Curriculum Level, this also includes Key competencies, dispositions, and attendance.
Your child will receive a mid-year report at the end of Term 2 and end of year school report in Term 4. New Entrant students who start school at the age of 5 years old will receive a general report on school readiness after approximately 6 weeks at school.
Parent Partnership Meetings (Parent Interviews) will be held in Term 1 and Term 3 for teachers to meet with parents, caregivers, and the student to set goals and discuss progress and achievement according to Overall Teacher Judgement (OTJ) using a range of assessments including:
- Observations
- Student assessment
- Student feedback/voice
We know that all students learn in a range of different ways and it is important for parents and caregivers to understand the progress students have achieved over time according to their skills and abilities.
Teachers also cater for our Special Needs students who require extra assistance with adaptive programmes to support them to meet their needs according to curriculum level.
